In a simple example, where an organization has ~1,000 hardware assets, it would take (1,000 hardware assets * ~3 seconds) / 60 seconds in a minute) approximately ~50 minutes to process all hardware contracts.

• "Get Contract" UI Action

o Dell Warranty Import recommends enabling this UI Action and delegating access to appropriate Asset Management users so that point in time iterative updates can occur when contracts need to be retrieved or updated from the vendor.

• "Get Contract" Business Rules

o Dell Warranty Import recommends enabling both the "Get Contract for New Asset" and "Get Contract on Asset Update" business rules so that hardware assets that are brought in manually, or via automated processes such as Systems Management discovery solutions like Microsoft SCCM, can retrieve hardware contracts iteratively in the background.
