Dell API Key Retrieval

Dell Warranty Import requires each customer to provide their API Client ID and Client Secret for processing Dell contracts in their environment. Dell supports and provides these keys to their customers through the Dell Technologies TechDirect program.


To begin retrieving your client id and client secret, you must first create an account. After creating your account, to retrieve your API information, you must link your account to a company using one of two options TechDirect provides you: "Enroll as Company Administrator" or "Join to Company.



After you have successfully linked your account to a company, request an API Key.

Dell Warranty Import leverages these keys when processing contracts for your company. However, it will never know and can never share the key you provided during the solution's configuration steps.
